1. Getting Started (You, the Homemaker)
- Sign up with your business name, phone, email, and a password.
- Your account waits for approval, usually within 24 hours — you'll get an email once you're approved.
- Log in, then go to Menu Manager and add your food items with price, unit (e.g. "per box" or "1.5 plate"), an optional tag like "Veg" or "Non-Veg", and an optional photo.
- Go to Settings and fill in your UPI ID and payee name, choose your own custom link, and optionally upload your business logo.
- Go to Order Questions if you want to ask customers anything extra at checkout — like "Cutlery needed?" or "Pickup or Delivery time".
2. The Link You Share With Customers
Your personal order link is shown at the top of the Settings page, along with a QR code you can share directly. It looks like:
homebites.anyapps.in/your-chosen-name
Send this link to your customers on WhatsApp, Instagram, or anywhere else — every order placed through it comes straight to your dashboard.
3. How a Customer Orders
- They open your link, enter their phone number (this remembers their name and address for next time).
- They fill in or confirm their delivery address.
- They browse your menu and choose quantities of what they want.
- They place the order — it appears on your dashboard under Pending.
4. Getting Paid — the QR Code is Automatic
You don't need to create or upload any QR code yourself. The moment you save your UPI ID and payee name in Settings, HomeBites generates a fresh QR code for every single order automatically — already filled in with the exact order amount. The customer just scans and pays, or you can mark the order as paid by Cash instead.
5. Managing Orders
- Pending — new orders waiting for you to confirm payment (UPI or Cash), or cancel.
- Confirmed — paid orders waiting to be delivered. Tap Mark Delivered once done.
- Phone Order — for orders you take yourself over a phone call. No payment step, just a quick record of who ordered what, for your own records.
- Reports — pick any date range to see totals by item (how much of each dish sold) and by person (how much each customer ordered).
6. Pricing
